Occupy Toronto protesters were evicted from St. James Park Wednesday, but their fight continues, according to Bryan Batty, one of the five protesters who filed an affidavit in Ontario’s Superior Court last week seeking an injunction against the eviction.
Occupy Toronto protesters say they will forge ahead despite being ruled by Toronto court to leave St. James Park on Monday. It's unclear as to what comes next for the protesters, but many say that ruling actually made the group stronger. It was made very apparent that Occupy protesters are not going to stop anytime soon. Superior Court Justice David Brown ruled Monday morning that the Occupy Toronto protesters have to leave.
Peter Bromley has been camped out at St. James Park until last week when eviction notices were posted. He is a business owner in the Yonge and St. Clair area and wanted to camp out to show support for the cause.
