Canadian tobacco industry faces $27B lawsuit | Print |

A group of Quebec smokers have filed a $27-billion lawsuit against the country’s three largest tobacco companies: Imperial Tobacco Canada Ltd.; Rothmans, Benson & Hedges; and JTI-Macdonald, in what is now the biggest class-action suit in Canadian history.
