Despite the name "Israeli Apartheid Week," IAW activities are in fact now entering their second week on campuses across Canada. 

But I suspect few National Post readers will be in attendance. Over the last week, we've received scores of letters denouncing the event, and only a handful in support.

Many of the letters came in response to a column by Jaggi Singh titled "Defending Israeli Apartheid Week." Readers argued that his arguments were built on false assumptions and faulty logic.

"The premise of the Israeli Apartheid Week is that the plight of the Palestinian people is wholly attributable to Israel," wrote Gordon S. Clarry.
