Hamilton will be making history on Saturday when the first outdoor American Hockey League game in Canada is held between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Toronto Marlies at Ivor Wynn Stadium.

City of Toronto hacked by Anonymous Occupy Toronto supporter | Print |

The hacker group Anonymous  has threatened to have the City of Toronto "removed from the Internet", after Mayor Rob Ford announced plans to evict the Occupy Toronto camp from St. James Park.

Humber students plan safe-driving Super Bowl | Print |

Humber College students are taking steps to ensure a safe way home from their Super Bowl festivities.

In a press release Thursday, Peel Regional Police said Super Bowl weekend often has an increase in alcohol-related activities and they will be conducting R.I.D.E spot checks throughout Brampton and Mississauga to curb drinking and driving-related offences.

Syrian peace plan creates opposition skepticism | Print |

The Kofi Annan-led UN peace planl has been accepted by the Syrian government, however a spokesperson from the opposition said they are doubtful the deal will protect civilian lives amid renewed violence in the country.
